The library is the heart of our school, centrally located and recognised as a welcoming hub where students develop a lifelong love of reading and learning. It is a vibrant, positive space that encourages children to explore books, discover new interests, and connect with others through the joy of literature.
Students visit the library regularly with their classes throughout the year, providing opportunities to engage with quality literature, participate in learning experiences, and develop essential literacy skills. Regular borrowing sessions encourage children to select books that interest them and share stories with their families at home, helping to foster a love of reading beyond the classroom and strengthen home school connections.
Throughout the year, the library extends beyond its walls to bring our community together through pop up book fairs and special school events. Located alongside the Family Room, events such as Welcome to Winter and our school disco create opportunities for families, students, and staff to gather, connect, and celebrate learning in an inclusive and engaging environment. These events strengthen our sense of community while fostering a shared appreciation for reading and the important role it plays in children's lives.
