Childcare provider is Communities@Work http://commsatwork.org

Long and short programs for children aged:

birth to 18 months (1 adult to every 4 children)

  • 18 months to 3 year olds (1 adult to every 5 children)
  • 3 & 4 year olds
  • 4 & 5 year olds

Childcare centre is open 10.5 hours each day.   Programs include before and after preschool care.


15 hour a week preschool programs for children aged 4 years (Preschool Enrolment Guidelines)

Programs based on Early Years Learning Framework

Group options

  • Long day program (option 1): Monday, Tuesday & alternate Wednesday 9.00am - 3.00pm
  • Long day program (option 2): Alternate Wednesday & Thursday, Friday 9.00am - 3.00pm

Maximum of 22 children in each group

Programs linked to Department of Education: Every Chance to Learn Curriculum and The Australian Curriculum

Explicit teaching of literacy and numeracy each day

Structured holiday programs for preschool, kindergarten, year 1 and year 2 children provided by Communities@Work.

Psychological counselling services for children

Community Programs

A series of family and child related programs are provided that promote learning and social connection within the early childhood school and the general community. These include music and active play programs, parent workshops and playgroups. Celebrations and events are coordinated throughout the year involving the early childhood school community, extended family and other family related services.
